Top Ten Tuesday # 12: Books I Enjoyed but Rarely Talk About

Hello! Hello! Hello!

Today is Tuesday so you know what that means! It’s time for Top Ten Tuesday! Top Ten Tuesday is a bookish weekly meme that is currently run by Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s (April 14th, 2020) topic: Books I Enjoyed but Rarely Talk About.  Allons-y!

I feel like I’m always screaming about the same books which might or might not be all by a certain Australian author with a name that may rhyme with Kay Jristoff. So I’m happy to showcase a couple books I loved but don’t get a chance to talk about a lot.

Warcross by Marie Lu
Dear Haiti, Love Alaine by Maika Moulite & Maritza Moulite
Sky in the Deep by Adrienne Young
Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch
Sanctuary by Caryn Lix

The Valiant by Lesley Livingston
Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco
Heartless by Marissa Meyer
The Dark Days Club by Alison Goodman
Spindle Fire by Lexa Hillyer

Let’s chat!

Do we have any in common? What are some books that you loved but rarely talk about? Leave me a comment.

  1. I own Dark Days Club and Dear Haiti so I really need to get to those. I LOVE Stalking Jack the Ripper. I have the final one, but I haven’t read it yet. I re-read the first book last year for my book club and now I want to re-read 2 and 3 before finishing the final one.

  2. Hahaha as I was preparing my post yesterday I kept thinking about how the majority of the books I gush about are by this same author whose name rhymes with Kay Jristoff 🤣 They’re just too good…? But it feels good to share some love to other faves as well 😍I loved Warcross too and am looking forward to reading Heartless (soon, eventually, hopefully). Great list, Mir!
