Hello! Hello! Hello!
Today is Tuesday so you know what that means! It’s Top 5 Tuesday. originally created by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm, and it is my absolute privilege and pleasure to say that it is now being hosted here, at Meeghan reads.
This week’s (April 6th, 2021) topic: Top 5 books you wish you could read for the first time again. Allons-y!
My choices are probably predictable but here they are anyway,
Nevernight by Jay Kristoff
This is my all time favourtite book and by my all time favourite author. This book gave me the same type of feeling that watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer gave me way back when.
Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
For the pure joy of a queer romance.
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Because it’s a stunning book that still sticks with me ot this day.
The Fifth Season by NK Jemisin
The story is so intricate and well balanced that i wish could experience it for the first time again.
The Henna Wars by Adiba Jaigirdar
So much more than what I thought it was going to be. A book about acceptance and identity.
Let’s chat!
What are books that you wished you could read for the first time? Leave me a comment.

There is only one book I wish I could read for the first time – A Tale for the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki. But the thing is, it is such a special book, you’re not the same person you were when you started reading it, so I guess I could reread it and it would feel like the first time again – in a way. Maybe.
